Geek. Dad. Life. was established as a YouTube channel on October 1, 2019 to as a channel for the “toy collecting thoughts of a geek dad.” Founded by veteran podcaster Jay Glatfelter, GDL has since grown into a robust community of viewers, including an exclusive Patrons-only Discord channel.
Geekdadlife.com launched in March 2022 to cover toy and film news, live fanstreams, pre-order news, exclusives, conventions, and more. In June 2024, the podcast Toy Geeks! premiered, co-hosted by Jay Glatfelter and Secret Galaxy‘s Dan Larson.
