Hasbro Pulse's G.I. Joe March 8 Fanstream: New Price Points, Name, Rendering, and Pre-Order Reveals

Haslab’s G.I. Joe team just did a live Fanstream and dropped a ton of news about the line, including name reveals, rendering reveals, and pre-order announcements. The preorders begin at 1:00 p.m. ET today, March 8, 2023.

As for the pre-orders, new price points were introduced. Hasbro Pulse is trying to world build and will offer the classic mainline figures at the $24.99 price point, but they will also be adding a deluxe line, which will feature figures plus more accessories than the mainline ones have for $34.99 and figures, pets, and accessories for $44.99. A $54.99 price point will offer 2-packs with two figures plus accessories (for example, troop builder packs).

The figures going up for preorder at the mainline for $24.99 are Copperhead, Bazooka, Torpedo, Shipwreck, and Rock ‘N’ Roll. Selling for $34.99 is Snow Job, which will be a Hasbro Pulse exclusive. Scrap Iron and Anti-Tank Drone will also be a mainline item but will cost $44.99 (drones are pets!). Finally, the Cobra Valkyries 2-pack will also be a Hasbro Pulse exclusive and sell for $54.99. Name Reveals: (Just names, no renderings are ready yet.)

Rendering Reveals:

Tunnel Rat: Has camouflage on face and arms, night vision googles, a backpack, and flashlights that plug into the backpack.
Firefly v. 2: Comes with a remote control car, submarine gun, detonator, and backpack
Low-Light: Has removable googles, a rife bag, rifle, and backpack
Shadow Tracker: Chartreuse mask with wash on skull head underneath, jaguar skull on shoulder, and weapons

Preorders starting Wednesday, March 8 at 1:00 p.m. ET:

Next Wave of Mainline Figures: These five figures will be $24.99:
- Copperhead: Removable straps on arms, pistol holder with tabs, and matte finishes
- Bazooka: Can hold two rounds in the bazooka with a storage pack on back; crash test dummy deco, removable helmet, and a mustache.
- Torpedo: Wetsuit and flexible flippers
- Shipwreck: Tattoos, hairy chest, anchor, and rope. Polly the parrot now had a peg leg and pegs onto the rope to sit on shoulder.
- Rock ‘N’ Roll: Skull tattoo on hands and bracelets for a “rock ‘n roll feel” and an extra set of hands (trigger fingers and fists).
Deluxe figures: Come with more accessories than the mainline figures. $34.99 and $44.99
- Scrap Iron and Anti-Tank Drone: $44.99. This is considered a “Figure and Pet” item. Articulated tank treads on drone. Blast effects and a smoke trail that fits into Bazooka’s bazooka.
- Snow Job: $34.99. This is a standard Deluxe offering. Comes with multiple hoods and an alternative head, as well as googles, ski polls, snow shoes, skis, a sniper rifle, and a backpack that stows gear.
Deluxe 2-pack: Comes with two figures, and accessories. World building, baby!
- Cobra Valkyries 2-pack: $54.99. Comes with removable heads if you want to mismatch them, blast effects, and backpacks that stow rifles.
