Three new Star Wars movies were announced at Disney’s Star Wars Celebration Europe 2023, a quasi-trilogy of movies set in the past, present, and future timelines.

• An yet untitled film directed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy that’s set 15 years after The Rise of Skywalker and will bring back Daisy Ridley a Rey. It’s about rebuilding the Jedi Order.
• Dawn of the Jedi, a James Mangold-helmed film set in the distant past, telling the story of the earliest Jedi.
• A film directed by Dave Filoni that takes place during the era of the New Republic that will close out stories from The Mandalorian universe and his animated projects.
