Super Hero Hype has exclusively revealed the cover for the next Dark Horse Books/Mattel MOTU art book, The Art of Masters of the Universe: Origins and Masterverse.

Written by Alex Irvine, this art book further explores the creation of the MOTU action figure line, featuring production art, background info about the characters, and new insights from the original team that created these iconic toys in the 1980s. A special deluxe edition includes a “portfolio of artwork and two lithograph prints, all housed in a hardcover slipcase.”

“The Art of the Masters of the Universe: Origins and Masterverse,” which is now available for pre-order through our affiliate Amazon, is priced at $49.99 and will be out in books stores on December 5 and in comic shops on December 6, 2023.
