Paramount Animation announced at last week’s CinemaCon that it is teaming up with Hasbroand eOne for the upcoming Transformers animated movie. The movie, titled Transformers One, tells the story of how young Optimum Prime and young Megatron went from being “brothers-in-arms” to sworn enemies.

The cast of Transformers One includes Chris Hemsworth as Optimus Prime, Brian Tyree Henry as Megatron, Scarlett Johansson as Elita, Keegan-Michael Key as Bumblebee, John Hamm as Sentinel Prime, and Laurence Fishburne as Alpha Tron. Directed by Josh Cooley and executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Transformers One will be released on July 19, 2024.
