Daaaay-O!

Production has begun on Warner Bros Beetlejuice 2 in London. The sequel to the 1988 film starring Michael Keaton will be in theaters on September 6, 2024.

Keaton will return in the title role, as will Winona Ryder as a now grown-up Lydia Deetz. Wednesday star Jenna Ortega joins the cast as Lydia’s daughter. Justin Theroux is also reportedly signed on to play a yet-to-be-revealed character (Lydia’s partner, maybe?)

September 6, 2024 is currently the same day that Marvel’s Blade starring Mahershala Ali is scheduled for release. No word yet on whether or not the WGA strike will push Blade back or not.
