When and where can we order the replica?
You’ll be able to pre-order on Kickstarter when we launch on Tuesday, July 11th. The campaign will run for 30 days.
How much does the replica cost?
Our replica will retail for $399, but our early bird discounts start at 25% off, so you can pre-order one for $299 on launch day.
Does the $5 reservation guarantee we get the VIP early bird discount?
No, but it gives you first access to the discount.
We use a separate system from Kickstarter for reservations, and Kickstarter only allows time and number based rewards (rewards are what you select when you back the campaign – the VIP early bird reward will allow you to pre-order a replica for $299). We will have a limited number of VIP early bird rewards that can be secured on a first-come first-serve basis once our Kickstarter campaign goes live.
What we can guarantee is that we will email those who make a reservation to notify them that the campaign is live at least an hour before sharing the campaign publicly, and that we will offer enough rewards to cover everyone that has made a reservation (if we get 3,000 VIP reservations, there will be at least 3,000 VIP rewards). This gives you the best chance of securing the VIP early bird discount.
If I made a reservation but miss getting a VIP early bird Reward before they sell out, will I still get my other reservation perks?
Absolutely! As long as you back the project during the campaign, you will still receive priority shipping and a free 3″ Einstein figure (one per each replica ordered).
How do I make a VIP reservation?

Can I pre-order multiple replicas?
Yes, you can! We’ll offer bundle tiers for those who wish to purchase more than one replica. We plan to manufacture as many replicas as people pre-order.
Will this replica have any features of the Time Machines from Parts II and III?
No, our replica is solely based on the original Time Machine from the first BTTF movie. Adding features from other versions would require changes to the design that would diminish the authenticity of the replica. For this project, we’ve chosen to focus on designing a detailed and accurate replica of the original Time Machine.
When will we get our replicas?
We plan to begin shipping in late 2024. We have not yet started manufacturing, as we are still working on the design. We know it’s a long wait, but on the plus side, we’re able to hear your feedback which will help us create a final design that you’ll love.
Which countries will you ship to?
Our current license is only for distribution in the continental U.S. We have only targeted ads in the U.S., but we know this project has still found its way to many international fans. Our team is discussing shipping options for international backers, but for now, we suggest those outside of the U.S. use a parcel forwarding service.
