Yesterday, Chris and Travis at TOMY did a Facebook Live yesterday to talk more about the upcoming Back To the Future Time Machine Replica. Last week, they sent out an email answering FAQs.

From HeXt:

• The Time Machine is early in production and will feature interior and exterior lights.
• It will feature both the DMC and Delorean logos on it.
• There is no sound because toy speakers would ruin the look and would not give a premium sound.
• The car’s smoke will use a solution like a model train does. It will be silent.
• The cables will be real molded.
• It will have movie accurate colors to a point.
• The Time Machine will use AA batteries but they plan to have alternative options and may change timing to stay on.
• As of right now now, the lights will stay on for one minute.
• If this project is successful, they hope to eventually do BTTF 2 and 3 eventually. For now, they are only doing the first movie because there are too many differences.
