Live-action Ahsoka actress Natasha Liu Bordizzo (Sabine Wren) gave an interview to SFX Magazine (via Games Radar), confirming that the upcoming Disney+ series will take place during the same timeline as Season 3 of The Mandalorian.

“I think it’s hard not to feel part of something bigger,” Bordizzo said, “Ahsoka runs along the same timeline as The Mandalorian season 3, and the shows are all connected. There’s just so many parallels.”

When asked if the Ahsoka cast will be a part of the big Dave Filoni‘s big movie event that will close out stories from The Mandalorian/New Republic universe, Bordizzo responded that our guess was as good as hers, explaining “This is one of those times when I can so happily tell you I have no idea what’s going on with that. I’m happy not to, because that way I don’t have to lie to you!”

Season 1 of Ahsoka drops on Disney+ on August 23.
