We have arrived at the last weekend of the Mythic Legions Dragon crowdfund campaign, and if you have not already done so, the time to make your decision on whether to back this massive project is here! The Beyithirr the Dragon Campaign closes this Sunday, April 6, 2025, at 11:00 pm EST. This is truly toy history happening right before our eyes and it looks like more and more collectors are deciding to be a part of it. Here are the key details you need to know as we head into the campaign’s last weekend, including the full reveal of a BRAND-NEW STRETCH GOAL!
The Offering
As currently constituted, the base offering includes the Beyithirr the Dragon himself, an incredible feat of toy design and engineering, with 50 points of articulation, and measuring approximately 22” from the bottom of his feet to the tip of his wings, 12” wide, and 31” from the tip of his snout to the end of his tail (and can stretch even wider and longer than that). This thing is breathtaking in person if you haven’t seen him, and every scale was individually sculpted by Four Horsemen Studios guru Eric Treadaway and the whole thing was hand painted to artistic perfection. Also included in the base package is Sir Benegar, a gorgeous Dragon Knight, with an accessory upgrade package (a stretch goal that has already been met), including a soft goods cape, hands, weapons and a Dragon Face Shield. Sir Benegar also includes an exclusive helmet and pauldrons that will not be offered again once this campaign ends. This base package is $550 plus tax and shipping (which can get pricey depending on where you’re located) and has met its funding goal which means the DRAGON IS HAPPENING – turning this, effectively, into a one-time preorder.
But wait, there’s more. There are two (2) add-on accessory sets which have already met their individual stretch goals as well. First, there is the Fiery Breath set, which includes a second angry Dragon head and neck, gigantic translucent flame effects AND a translucent “Burning Knight” figure. The price for this set is $150.00 plus tax and shipping. Second, there is the Epic Wings set, a second set of massive “outstretched” wings, which also comes with an “Ashen Zombie” figure and carries a price tag of $150.00 plus tax and shipping. Both add-on sets had figure accessory set stretch goals of their own which have all been met, meaning each add-on set is fully funded and will come with all advertised pieces.
Beyithirr’s Fury
And now the big news – the Four Horsemen have just fully revealed a new stretch goal for the base Dragon package – a brand-new figure named “Beyithirr’s Fury”! This Knight figure comes in a gold and green color design and compliments Sir Benegar perfectly. Fury is also packaged with a slew of accessories, including a helmet with multiple attachments, an “chainmail” head with three (3) swappable battle masks, a sword and scabbard, spear, and a large shield with multiple display options. This figure package unlocks at 4,000 orders of Beyithirr the Dragon at no extra cost.
Part of the Journey is the End
Currently, the Dragon has crossed the 2800 backer threshold, meaning the campaign is knocking on the door of unlocking the Ashen Skeleton stretch goal (basically a “burned up” version of the Skeleton Legion Builder 2 figure that was so hot – pun intended – last year), which unlocks at 3,000 backers. After that, there is an Ashen Skeleton accessory pack that unlocks at 3,500 backers and, finally (we think), the Beyithirr’s Fury figure at 4,000 backers. Will the campaign hit 3,000? Almost certainly, yes. Will it 3,500? Probably, yeah. Will it make it all the way to 4,000 and unlock all stretch goals? That remains to be seen, but there is a least a good shot that could happen. One thing that is not in doubt – now is the time to be a part of toy history and back the Mythic Legions Dragon! But, if you are going to back, do it now, because at 11pm EST this Sunday, April 6th, the campaign closes! You can back here.
