Yesterday, Deadline reported that Warner Bros has switched around and announced new release dates for upcoming feature films. The biggest information of note is Aquaman 2 will be swapping places with The Color Purple (based on the Broadway musical) to face off against the Ghostbusters Afterlife sequel. Also noteworthy is the studio canceled a Sept. 22, 2023 slot that they were holding for an untitled DC movie.

- Aquaman & The Lost Kingdom (Warner Bros): Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023
- Ghostbusters Afterlife 2 (Sony): Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2023
- Migration (Illumination/Universal): Friday, Dec. 22, 2023
- The Color Purple (Warner Bros): Monday, Dec. 25, 2023
- The Wise Guys (Warner Bros): Friday, February 2, 2024
- Warner Bros’ animated Wizard of Oz movie Toto was originally scheduled for a Feb. 2, 2024 release but no new date has been announced for animated feature yet.
- Minecraft (Warner Bros): April 4, 2025
- Unnamed Movie: Warner Bros booked December 19, 2025 for a yet-to-be-named movie.
