Reviving old franchises from 20+ years ago is all the rage lately.

Pedro Pascal is reportedly in final negotiations to join Ridley Scott‘s Gladiator sequel. The yet-to-be-titled sequel to the 2000 Academy Award winner stars Paul Mescal as Lucius (Maximus’ son), Joseph Quinn, Barry Keoghan, Djimon Hounsou, Connie Nielsen and Denzel Washington.

No word on what character Pascal would be playing, but Scott will be returning as director. Production is expected to begin in May or June 2023 with an expected release date of November 24, 2024.
