Universal and Illumination‘s (and the younger contingent of the GDL household) hit movie The Super Mario Bros Movie will begin streaming on Peacock on August 3, 2023.

The Super Mario Bros Movie – which was released in theaters in April and broke the $1 billion mark at the box office – will stream with bonus content, including:

• Getting to Know the Cast: Behind-the-scenes interviews with the stars of the film
• The Super Mario Bro. Movie Field Guide: An immersive video featuring the cast and various interactive features throughout the film, including power-ups and bonuses
• Peaches Lyrical Video: Sing along to Bowser’s big musical number as he serenades Princess Peach (Note: The 2 younger GDL family members went through a weeklong period where they listened to or watched Browser’s “Peaches” song on repeat.)

The Super Mario Bros Movie stars Chris Pratt as Mario, Charlie Day as Luigi, Anya Taylor-Joy as Princess Peach, and Jack Black as Bowser.  Seth Rogen, Fred Armisen and Keegan-Michael Key also star. It was directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic. Matthew Fogel wrote the screenplay.
