This morning, Amazon Prime Video announced that their animated series Merry Little Batman will premiere exclusively on Prime Video on December 8.
Merry Little Batman was first announced in a press release at the end of April along with two other shows: a spinoff series titled, Bat-Family, and a two-season order for Batman: Caped Crusader from executive producers Bruce Timm, J.J. Abrams, and Matt Reeves. All three new Batman animated properties will premiere exclusively on Prime Video.
About Merry Little Batman:
This animated family action comedy is a holiday movie. Young Damian Wayne finds himself alone in Wayne Manor on Christmas Eve and has to pull a Kevin McCallister to defend his home and Gotham City from the Grinch supervillains trying to destroy the holiday for everyone. He transforms into “Little Batman” to do so. Merry Little Batman is directed by Mike Roth (Regular Show) and produced by Warner Bros. Animation. Morgan Evans (Teen Titans Go!) wrote the screenplay.
