TOMY’s BTTF Time Machine Replica Raises $1,070,918 on Kickstarter

I say this completely unironically, but GREAT SCOTT! The Back to the Future 1:10 scale Time Machine Replica from TOMY raised a whopping $1,070,918 from 2,816 backers on Kickstarter. This limited edition die-cast metal Time Machine collectible is 17-inches long. It also has functional interior and exterior lights and emits real smoke from the rear fins.

Team TOMY sent out an email recapping some of the stats from the Kickstarter campaign, which are:

  • The campaign was 3x funded in just one day!
  • We surpassed $500,000 in 14 hours
  • We unlocked both stretch goals, which means all backers get the Lightning Hook and Flame Track accessories included FREE in their pre-order
